Finding a product

Use Google Trends to compare products and see what is searched
Repeat purchases or subscriptions would be amazing
Do competitive research – who else is selling? How can you be better?

You may start with just the product, but branded dropshipping should at the very least be your goal, if not your first step here

Find your customers
Test A/B ads or organic traffic

KEY QUESTIONS TO ASK
Do something different. Why can’t anyone else make this store and out-compete you? Or at least steal a huge chunk of your sales or even drive margins down?
Do customers like the product & buying experience? Avoid getting shut down by PayPal or Shopify (too many returns)
What do your product reviews say? (especially the negative ones)
Once you find a homerun product, how can you scale horizontally? What peripheral or similar products would sell well as add-ons? These may also reduce shipping costs
